I've added Wynne Brown's photos to her account of the Horseshoe Two Fire's run through Whitetail Canyon. To see them, scroll down to the first (lower) of the two entries for June 12.
I live with my husband Alan Craig in a round stone house, in the shadow of Arizona’s Chiricahua Mountains. We watch the seasons cycle, watch the comings and goings of hummingbirds and of marauding Javelinas, and treasure the rich hours spent with friends in the Portal-Rodeo community. Being home is good… but so is being footloose in the wide, wild world, and this blog will focus mostly on roaming the wild areas of this marvelous earth!
Cambodia was my retirement tour and celebration––and a fine one it was! Thanks to my friends who joined me, and to Nara Duong, our superb guide!

And what follows retirement from tours? Sky Island Press!
Our first book was released in November 2015:
Dale Zimmerman's Turaco Country, a 783-page memoir featuring over 900 images of East African birds and other wildlife, many of them rarely photographed.
